Our Booking Terms and Conditions

Booking Confirmation

Reservation Process

  1. Online Booking: Our website lets Guests book accommodation and dive services. A confirmation email will be sent once the booking is completed.
  2. Email/Phone Booking: Guests can also make reservations via email at reservations@mantalodgetobago.com or by calling +1 (868) 235-7200. A confirmation email will be sent once the booking is processed.

Deposit Requirements

  1. Accommodation: A deposit of 50% of the total booking amount is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance is due upon check-in or full payment
  2. Dive Services: A deposit of 30% of the total cost of dive services is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due before the first dive or full payment

Booking Modifications

Changes to Reservations

  1. Modification Requests: Any changes to your reservation must be requested in writing via email to email info@mantalodgetobago.com or reservations@mantalodgetobago.com or by calling our reservations office at +1 (868) 235-7200.
  2. Subject to Availability: All modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Cancellation And or Refund Policy

Accommodation

  1. Cancellation 30+ Days Before Arrival: Full refund of the deposit.
  2. Cancellation 14-29 Days Before Arrival: 50% refund of the deposit.
  3. Cancellation Less than 14 Days Before Arrival: No refund of the deposit.

Dive Services

  1. Cancellation 7+ Days Before Dive Date: Full refund.
  2. Cancellation 3-6 Days Before Dive Date: 50% refund.
  3. Cancellation Less than 3 Days Before Dive Date: No refund.

No-Show Policy

No refund will be provided for no-shows for both accommodation and dive services.

Check-In and Check-Out

Check-In

  1. Time: Check-in is available from 1:00 PM.
  2. Early Check-In: Subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Check-Out

  1. Time: Check-out is at Noon.
  2. Late Check-Out: Subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Please get in touch with the front desk to arrange.

Special Requests

We strive to accommodate special requests (e.g., dietary needs, and special room arrangements). Please inform us of any special requests at the time of booking. While we will do our best to meet your needs, we cannot guarantee all requests.

Guest Responsibilities

  1. Identification: Guests are required to present valid identification upon check-in.
  2. Conduct: Guests must conduct themselves appropriately and respect the property and other guests. Any damage caused by a guest will be charged to their account.
  3. No Smoking in the Room: A charge of USD150 will be charged to their account.
  4. Manta Lodge is Smoke-Free.
  5. Personal Belongings: Manta Lodge Hotel and Dive Centre Tobago is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings. Guests are advised to use the in-room safes for valuables.

Special Circumstances

  1. Medical Emergencies:
    • Cancellations due to medical emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Documentation from a certified medical professional is required.
  2. Natural Disasters and Force Majeure:
    • In the event of natural disasters or other force majeure events, Manta Lodge Hotel and Dive Centre Tobago will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule without penalty.

General Terms

  1. Refund Process: Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation confirmation.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Manta Lodge Hotel and Dive Centre Tobago reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad and Tobago.
